Country estate De Hamert
An almost entirely contiguous complex of dry heath, wet heath and fens forms the impressive De Hamert Estate. The dry heath lies predominantly on the shifting dunes that occur naturally here, the parabola dunes. Adjacent to the fens is the wet heath. The months of August and September are the time when the heath is at its most beautiful for many people because of the mass blooming heather, the heath species of the dry heath.
